Files: PowerTools, TCGplayer, eBay CSV

For Cardmarket, TCGplayer and eBay, Actana creates a ready upload file when you finish a batch. You choose the file under Export targets when you start the batch and can still adjust it in the finish window with Change.

Cardmarket via TCG PowerTools

  1. Choose TCG PowerTools CSV as an export target.
  2. Finish the batch. With several games you get one file per game.
  3. Upload the file in TCG PowerTools and pick the matching game there each time.

Cards without a Cardmarket ID are still in the file. You then add the ID in TCG PowerTools, and the finish window tells you how many.

If your Cardmarket account runs in pounds, go to Settings → Marketplaces and set Your Cardmarket account currency to £ Pounds. The file then writes prices in pounds, converted at the ECB daily rate. This choice is available in the Europe sales region.

TCGplayer

You get one file for all games, with price and quantity. Every card needs a TCGplayer match. If one is missing, the batch can’t be finished with the TCGplayer file.

eBay CSV

  1. Under Settings → Marketplaces, section CSV export, click Set up at eBay CSV.
  2. Choose your eBay marketplace and enter the Item location and the names of your shipping, return and payment policies, exactly as on eBay.
  3. Click Enable eBay.
  4. After finishing, upload the file in Seller Hub and check the results report there.

For most marketplaces Actana brings the template along. For eBay.ch, download the template for Trading Card Games in Seller Hub under Reports → Uploads and import it at eBay CSV template. You can do the same for other marketplaces if you want a newer template.

The eBay file creates active listings, not drafts. With your own photos, your scans come before the stock image in the file.

Good to know

  • Your sales region decides which file is preselected for new batches.
  • With a Fixed export folder, Actana saves every file without asking.
  • If eBay runs through Managed Sync, use eBay Direct instead of the eBay CSV.
  • Graded cards are not in the TCG PowerTools and TCGplayer files.
  • Actana doesn’t remove sales made through a file. You remove those yourself.
