Direct Listing

With Direct Listing your cards go straight to eBay, Shopify and ManaPool. Listing keeps running on the server, even if you close the app.

How it works

  1. In the batch, click Finish batch. The List {n} cards window opens.
  2. Under Marketplaces, switch on the marketplaces where the cards should go online. A marketplace that isn’t available is greyed out with a short reason, for example Not connected or From Plus.
  3. Under Inventory, choose your inventory or a collection at Cards go to.
  4. Click List now. You can start scanning the next batch right away.

If you also need a file, click Export as CSV. If Managed Sync is on for a selected marketplace, cards always go into your inventory so Actana can remove sales.

List from your inventory

You list cards that are already in your inventory without a batch:

  1. In your inventory, click Select and mark the cards. Under Channels, the Not online filter helps.
  2. Click List. The same window opens.
  3. Switch on the marketplaces and click List now.

Progress

  • The bar at the top shows the status, for example eBay: 37 of 120 listed.
  • On the overview, every running batch has its own card.
  • Once all cards are listed, the app finishes the batch. If you are not on Scan & sell, click Finish batch in the bar.

When cards don’t go through

The bar shows, for example, 3 cards to review. Show cards lists the cards affected. You can then:

  • Resume handover: send open cards again
  • Accept partial result: keep the listed cards and put the others into a new batch (eBay)
  • Discard handover: end the listings from this handover. Listings that existed before stay.

If the reason is eBay isn’t accepting requests from Actana right now., it isn’t an issue with your account. Click Resume handover later.

Actana retries short marketplace hiccups on its own. A card from the same handover is only created once, even if it is sent several times. If the card already has an Actana listing there, Actana raises its quantity.

The card is already on eBay

eBay allows only one listing per card and condition. If the card is already on eBay without Actana, for example from a CSV file, Actana tells you in the window:

  • Switch to Managed Sync: The old listing is ended and listed again right away through Actana. It gets a new item number, and watchers are lost. Under Details you see per card what is still on eBay and what will be on eBay afterwards.
  • Don’t switch: The cards go into your inventory without a listing. The old listing stays, and Actana doesn’t remove sales from it.

Sales

  • With Managed Sync, the server removes sold cards and updates the other marketplaces, even with the app closed.
  • Until the batch is finished, the listings are already online, but sales are not removed yet. So finish the batch promptly.

Good to know

  • Direct Listing starts with Plus (one marketplace of your choice) and comes with Pro (all of them).
  • The quantity from the batch goes online. You list other copies of the same card from your inventory with List.
  • eBay listings go public immediately. On Shopify, the Publish directly setting decides, otherwise a draft is created.
  • With your own photos, eBay and Shopify show your scans. ManaPool takes no images.
  • Several batches can list in the background at the same time.
  • If a connection has expired, reconnect and click Resume handover.
