The pick list collects the open orders from your channels and walks you through your storage card by card. Every order gets a box.
Turn it on
Open Pick list and click Turn on pick list. Only channels with Managed Sync are included. Actana reads order number, items and quantity, no names or addresses. 30 days after shipping, Actana deletes the order numbers.
For Shopify, your app also needs the “read_orders” permission (read orders). If it’s missing, the pick list shows you how to add it.
Pick a round
- Set out the boxes, one per order, labelled with the number.
- Click Start picking and follow the route. It is sorted by storage location.
- Mark each card as Picked (Space) or Not found.
- When a box is complete, click Packed · keep picking.
- At the end, click Finish round.
Pause interrupts, Continue picking carries on later. Address and shipping are in the order on the channel. With Print you get boxes and route on one sheet.
On your phone
- Click Pick on your phone.
- Scan the code with your phone’s camera and tap the link.
No download, no sign-in. Desktop and phone show the same status, and the phone only sees the pick list.
Withdrawn and partly withdrawn orders
- When an order is withdrawn, Actana puts the card back into your inventory and tells you where it belongs. If it was marked Not found, it stays removed.
- For a partly withdrawn order you see, for example, Box 2: card withdrawn. Take it out and ship the rest. Put the card back and ship the rest.
- If a box was already packed and the whole order was withdrawn, you see, for example, Box 2 withdrawn. Don’t ship, put the cards back.
Order couldn’t be read
If Actana can’t read an order from the channel right now, the box shows a note, and while picking a short Check on the channel. Look at the order there and only ship it if it is still open.
Good to know
- The pick list starts with Plus.
- Turn off pick list deletes every stored order, round and signed-in phone. Your listings and inventory stay unchanged.
