Scan Pokémon cards and verify the result before export

The same Pokémon card name can belong to several separately listed products. Your sales CSV therefore needs a reviewed printing and the details of the physical copy, not only the card name.

TCG Actana suggests a card and printing from your scans or photos. Uncertain results stay open until you confirm or correct them against the physical card. The current Pokémon workflow supports English, German, and Japanese cards.

Review the suggested printing

Choose Pokémon before importing the Pokémon images. Review every suggested printing against the physical card before accepting it.

Do not rely on the card name alone. The side-by-side view puts your scan next to the catalogue image of the suggestion, and the arrow keys page through the batch. Compare artwork, set symbol and collector number. If the result is uncertain, leave it open until you can confirm or correct it.

Record the finish on your copy

Choose the finish that describes the physical card, such as Non-Holo, Holo, or Reverse Holo. The physical copy remains the deciding reference.

Prepare a useful image

Use a complete, sharp, and evenly lit image. The general guide to getting scans and photos into TCG Actana covers the import routes and capture advice.

Grade the physical copy, not the image

Condition is also your decision. Fine scratches, dents, and damage on the back may not appear in a single scan, so inspect the card in hand before exporting the batch. The card condition guide helps with grading.

Once the printing, language, finish, condition, and quantity are correct, export the batch as a CSV for TCG PowerTools. Actana keeps the reviewed copy details in the export. The TCG PowerTools export guide covers the next step.

A useful first batch

Start with a small group that you can check comfortably against the physical cards. Review every row, correct any open result, and confirm the copy details before exporting. If you add another supported game later, switch the game selection first; the export creates a separate file for each game.
