TCG Actana is a collection app, not a marketplace. When you want to continue with TCG PowerTools, the desktop app can prepare a CSV from either the current scan batch or your saved collection. You review the cards in Actana, create the file, and import it into TCG PowerTools yourself.
Before you export
The file can only be as accurate as the card data behind it. Whether you export a current batch or the whole collection, check the details that describe the physical copies:
- Printing: set and collector number
- Condition: your assessment on the Cardmarket scale
- Language: the language of the card
- Finish: non-foil, foil, reverse holo, or another supported variant
- Quantity: the number of matching copies
Actana does not assess condition or finish from an ordinary scan. Those choices remain yours. Check the printing and finish before adding a batch to your collection; condition, language, and quantity can still be changed afterwards. The card condition guide explains the grades from MT to PO.
Create the TCG PowerTools CSV
For the current batch, open the export action in the Scan view and choose Cardmarket listing (TCG PowerTools). Actana prepares the relevant TCG PowerTools file from the cards in that batch.
For cards already saved in Actana, open Settings → Data → Export collection and choose the same preset. Your collection can contain Magic, Pokémon, One Piece, and Riftbound together. The export keeps the games in separate files because TCG PowerTools imports into one active game at a time.
The CSV carries the card details, quantity, condition, language, finish, and an available price into the next step. If some cards are not covered by the chosen format, Actana shows how many were skipped. It does not produce a detailed skipped-card report, so check the source data before trying the export again.
Review the file before importing
Do not treat the export as a finished listing. Open the file and check a few representative rows:
- Do printing, language, condition, and finish match the physical cards?
- Do the quantities match the cards you intend to move into the next workflow?
- Did Actana report any skipped cards?
- Are empty prices intentional?
Market values are reference points, not guaranteed sale prices. Set and review your final prices in TCG PowerTools.
Continue in TCG PowerTools
Open TCG PowerTools, select the matching game, and import its CSV. Repeat the step for each game you exported. TCG Actana does not upload cards to Cardmarket or publish listings on your behalf.
If you edit the CSV in a spreadsheet, take care not to rename columns or let the spreadsheet change identifiers and number formats. When in doubt, create a fresh export instead of repairing a heavily reformatted file.
